Taking time off work

Help feeling so bad had to take time off work today as picked up a bug from alittle boy I look after we share childcare.
Also had to take time off when my little girl was ill few weeks ago. I dont want it to become a problem but feel so bad having to message my boss. Anyone else experience this ?

Yes feeling very bad today as off with ill toddler having been off / disrupted over last month with ill mother in law. I hope your boss is as understanding as mine. It helps but I still feel guilty and frustrated not to be able to get on with work.

Ive been back a month and have had one day off, one day finished early, changed a working from home day due to family wide gastroenteritis, and spent 2 of my holiday days at the Dr! Its been a bloody nightmare but I'm hoping my boss understands as he's around new germs so its inevitable really.
