Dry cough - when to send child back to school

Hi,
Daughter had Thursday / Friday off school due to persistent dry cough. As usual comes in worst in the evening . No fever but occasional headache from coughing so much. Not quite sure at what point she should return to school - is it okay to return with a cough with no fever?

Yes, if she's well in herself I'd send her back. Unfortunately it's annoying for those around her but coughs can linger for weeks, she can't stay off if she's otherwise well.
