Return from holiday, DD tired, temp and feels cold

Returned from Tenerife yesterday evening, DD1 age 7 was fine, however struggled to get her up for her hobby this morning but we went and she joined in fine, teacher said they worked hard. Said she was tired and cold this afternoon so has lay on the couch, not overly hungry has just picked all day. Now complaining of a headache and feels cold, but is hot to touch. Temp is 38, have give calpol and water she is now asleep on the couch.

Am I overreacting thinking she may have heat exhaustion? It was approx 28 degrees there but she did spend time in the shade, this has just come on her today.

In addition DD2 age 18 months has come home with a cough and a rash, think it may be hand foot and mouth as the rash looks like it, but she is fine though, no temp.

Thoughts please?

She could also be coming down with HFM. DS was so ill the day before it came out - his head hurt and tingled, he has a temperture and was very tired. Next day there were some on his throat and then the day after they exploded everywhere

I agree with HFM. Exactly how my wee boy was the day before it erupted. Seems to be everywhere right now!

Thank you both. I probably missed the temp in the baby as was giving her calpol for a stubborn fang that's coming through, she's doing lots of finger sucking which is probably how she's picked it up.

Just glad it's now we are home and not half way through holiday!

Funnily enough we are not long back from Spain and hand foot and mouth we’re rife. My DD2 came down with it. Horrible virus.
Hope your DDs are better soon.
