Coldsore or just a spot?

DD is 10 months old & has this spot appeared near her mouth. She's not been in contact with anyone with a coldsore as far as I know, but not sure it it is a coldsore or just some type of spot? She is teething badly at the moment so not sure if it could be relating to that?

I know coldsores are really dangerous in newborns but not sure how dangerous they are by this stage?
Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much. Looks like impetigo - characterised by a golden crust

I'd pop down and show the pharmacist in the first instance and take it from there

A cold sore is usually like a little blister to start with, does it look like that?

Thanks for the quick replies! No it does look more like a spot. Think I will pop to the chemist and see what they think

Pharmacist said he doesn't think it's a coldsore & thinks it's just a spot or something. Said just to put antiseptic cream on it. He wasn't the brightest though when I said "oh I'm probably just paranoid but obviously they tell you to be careful with babies and coldsores" and he said "oh do they, what do they say about coldsores ?" Confused
