On Tuesday my DD has her second round of jabs, she seemed fairly happy in herself afterwards, noticed a lump behind her ear on Thursday and spoke to a doctor about it on the phone. He was confident it was raised glands but was not concerned. On Friday morning DD became very sicky and has not really kept any milk down since. Her nappies were so dry that I took her in to be checked by the doctor on Friday afternoon - she said that as she seemed happy enough in herself and wasn’t showing signs of being dehydrated, to take her home and if she hadn’t had a wet nappy in eight hours to take her back. At this point I began syringe feeding boiled water to DD which she seems to be keeping down better than breast milk. We’ve had a few wet (and two soiled) nappies since, although they are nowhere near as wet as usual. She has also continued to be sick after milk feeds, her latest episode of throwing up being half an hour ago. She still seems perfectly happy, am I right to just continue to syringe feed her water for now and see how she goes or should I be taking her to out of hours? Her temperature has been normal.
