DD has a long history of ear infections but no major problems, treated with anti biotics and then been fine. A few weeks ago she complained of ear ache then had lots of fluid coming out of her ear, the doctor said she had a perforated ear drum, she was fine then for a week but then fluid came gushing out again and has continued to. Seems to be when she drinks anything it makes it likely to happen and we have given her blackcurrant and the fluid comes out pink - like weak blackcurrant. The amount that comes out is alarming and it#'s quite amazing she's not dehydrated. Doctors seem unconcerned and she has ear drops now to clear any wax so they can see her ears better, no antibiotics this time as there are no signs of infection.
