My 10 ds has a massive lump in the middle back of his neck. It doesn't cause him any pain, he hasn't been ill recently.
He has always had swollen glands but they usually go down. This one has gotten bigger.
Took him to docs today & he has put my son through for an urgent referal.
Do you know how long this takes?
Does it sound like I should worry. My son is really healthy & apart from a few nose bleeds & night sweats he's fine other than this lump. Need talking down. I'm trying to stay away from Google.

An urgent referral should be within 2 weeks. I know it's impossible not to worry but statistically it is far likely to nothing to worry about than something of concern. You should definitely stay away from Google.

In England an urgent referral means you'll be seen in 2 weeks.
