Does anyone have any suggestions what this rash DS has developed could be?

Wasn't there last night, but was this morning, only on his stomach (plus 2 on the front of his leg just below his groin).

He says they're not itchy but they are sore to the touch, he described it like pressing a bruise.

No allergies that we know of and doesn't feel unwell in anyway.

I've given him some piriton before bed to see if they go down.

??

That's what it looked like when my children had chicken pox.

That's what I think it looks like too, but he's already had them about 5yr ago!

When he had them he wasn't ill, just got the rash..........

If the spots look a bit like chicken pox, are confined to one area and are painful when touched could it be shingles? Or could be hand foot and mouth if it spreads at all?

FrangipaniBlue · 04/09/2018 22:42

They don't seem as "angry" today but he says still sore and now he has the sniffles...... so I'm watching him like a hawk to see what develops (if anything!)

According to NHS direct while its rare, you can actually get chickenpox twice...... I really bloody hope it's not Sad

I had chicken pox twice, much milder second time.

If the distribution is in band as it were, could be shingles.
