Hello

My Ds hasnt been himself the lasy few days little bursts of energy then needing to rest, saying he was cold yesterday and he had a slight temp of 38 controlled with calpol.
I thought he was getting my sore throat as ive felt a bit crappy last few days, he has also been waking in rhe night a bit clammy and having some bad dreams which is normally a sign he isnt well.
This morning he told me his neck hurst inside when i looked inside,it does look very swollen more on one side with some white marks, and i can feel a swollen gland on the same side, his breath was also a bit stinky this morning.
Im just wondering if i should get him seen asap if antibiotics are needed as he starts nursery next week.
Have attached a pic

Oh my that does look sore. I'd ring 111 and get advice, they may be able to offer an OOH appointment. Chances are it's viral so nothing can be except give pain relief and plenty of fluids. With my DC I have to avoid dairy when they have sore throats.
