Bike helmets

My 11 year old has started going out on his bike with friends. Today, out of the 5 of them he was the only one wearing a helmet (much to his annoyance!). I wouldn't feel happy him going out without one, am I being unreasonable?

YANBU.

I make my 12 year old wear his too as he cycles to school and he seems to be the only one with a helmet. Unfortunately I've passed him more than once with his helmet slung over his handlebar 🙄
