4yr old Injured Her Knee -Advice Please

My 4 yr old somehow hurt the BACK of her knee on a big trampoline on Wednesday 2 days ago, at the time she cried a lot for her then couldn't put weight on it really at all for 24 hours.

It wasn't swollen or painful unless she tried to stand or bend it with her weight on it. 24 hours later no improvement, tried ice pack, carried her everywhere back & forth to bathroom etc, stayed home all day.

At 36 hours she was able to bear weight on it, walking about slowly & I limited her time standing up. No pain if bends her knee without any weight on it but suddenly hurts bad if she tries to bend it much while standing, other than small bends for walking slowly. So she can't bend down to pick something up or to sit down on the floor, also hurts when trying to walk up stairs.

48 hours after hurting it, she is the same as mentioned above at 36 hours. However tonight she has woken up in pain even after calpol. I don't have any ibuprofen as she finished the bottle yesterday & seemed to be improving today so didn't buy any.

Obviously not a fracture as she can stand up on it and walk a bit, so is it likely soft tissue damage or tendon damage? A bad sprain??

If it's not any better tomorrow & wakes her up throughout tonight, should I phone 111?

I'm concerned because tonight it is causing her to wake up in pain which it didn't the previous night. Could she have been on it too much today?

Trying to keep it elevated slightly with a pillow underneath and limit her using it, but don't want to make it become stiff by not using it as grand parents say...any advice plz??? Pain is all behind the one knee

Take her to be looked at tomorrow.
Limited weight bearing doesn’t rule out fracture and waking up in pain after pain relief is a good reason to keep it on the ddx list until proven otherwise.
