Wake Times?

Hi there. My daughter is 5.5 months old and I have recently started to struggle to read her tired signs.
She used to yawn making it very clear that she was ready for bed, but these days she doesn't seem to do that. Instead she seems to rub her eyes now. However, I struggle because she seems to rub her eyes almost all the time!
Especially with the first nap of the day is where I struggle most because she starts rubbing her eyes, acting grizzly around the 1.5hr mark, but if I put her down in the crib she won't settle for at least another half an hour. I often wonder about this wake time period as well, because although she'll start calling for me to come get her around 6.30am, i think she's probably been awake and playing for some time before that, so I wonder how long she has actually been awake for by the time I get her to bed? I've also read that the first nap of the days wake time is the shortest. So how can I know when to put her down?
At nearly 6 months, I've read that their wake time should probably be more around the 2hour mark but how am I meant to know if she is always acting tired?
Any tips on the matter would be great! Thanks!
