My 9 year old has just been diagnosed with this, he has a tumour close by which has caused damage to his Hypothalamus. He's gained about 10kg in the last year and is very over weight 
He's been put on a Low GI diet in the hope it'll help but we've been warned he's going to struggle with weight battle now
Anyone else's child been diagnosed with this?
