Hello,
My 18 month old has had repeated ear infections since he was 5 months old and has been referred to ENT, the appointment is at the end of October. He doesn't sleep well, is wobbly on his feet and quite often has red ears when examined at the doctors. This morning he passed a hearing test, but had fluid in his ears diagnosed by a pressure measurement.
I think he's recently started getting travel sickness, although hasn't actually been sick yet. On long journeys, he is fine for a bit then screams for quite a long time before falling asleep. He also now resists being strapped in, although doesn't like being put in a high chair either so it could be just dislike of being strapped in somewhere! On short journeys he tends to stare out of the window looking glum but can be entertained briefly by other people. Has anyone else experienced travel sickness as a symptom of glue ear in their children?
