Chicken pox/ibuprofen

Hi, my 1 year old has been a little bit poorly for about a week, bit of a temp but was fine when he had Nurofen. My 2 year old has also been poorly since sunday night so i thought they had a bug or it was the heat or something so have both had Nurofen.
My 1 year old woke up last night with a spotty rash, Rang doctors this morning and explained that I think it's chicken pox but not sure as it's more rash and only a couple , well It's got worse through the day and is definitely chicken pox. some big ones are looking a bit black. Gave him a bath before bed and the blacks gone but left a weird indented sore and the others look really painful, he's not itchy either. My 2 year old daughter now has a few spots
Realised the past week I've given him Nurofen which has ibuprofen in it and remember the posts about don't have it if you have chicken pox.
Is it that bad that they have had it before the rash came up? My son has also had it once this morning when he had the rash.
Am I suppose to do anything now they have had ibuprofen and chicken pox?

No idea, sorry, but would suggest phoning 111 for advice.

The issue with using ibuprofen when having chickenpox is that it can cause tissue infection, once the spots have appeared. Now the spots have come out start using paracetamol to help with the temp and virasoothe from the chemist is excellent stuff.
