Tonsilitis and high temperature

My boy has tonsilitis and his temperature stays high. I try to mix paracetamol and ibuprofen, any other pieces of advice on how to cool him down? Thanks a lot x

They don't recommend cool baths or sponging down anymore as far as I know, so I'd keep him in as little clothing as possible and have a fan on in the room with him if you have one and if he can manage ice pops or ice lollies that will help him cool down too, plenty of ice cold water, you could put a bottle of water in the fridge for him to make it extra cold.
