4.5 yo boy wetting himself /infection ?

Hi,
My little boy is having a phase of wetting himself. I sometimes think it's distraction as he's busy playing . I sometimes think he can't be bothered to get up and go. He tells me he doesn't know he's doing it but he tells a few white lies. Is this common in little boys ?
Should I take a sample in to docs ? He doesn't mention any discomfort ?
He has been out of Nappies for ages and used to be far more reliable toilet wise.

Is he drinking more/tired/extra hungry/losing weight?

No ,otherwise fine. Took a sample . Nothing from the dipstick but they sent away just in case.

Is he having more screen time than normal? I had to ban the Wii for ds2 as the Wii made him wee! Couldn't bear to be parted.

No,hardly any at the moment. He tells me he doesn't know he has done it until afterwards but not sure if that's the case .

constipated?

janmk · 12/08/2018 07:59

I have read about constipation being a poss cause but not sure he is ? No signs that I have recognised at least ? We are now on holiday and so many accidents in bed, in the car , no washing machine. If it carries on almost feel I will need to buy pull ups !
