My 10 yr DD was in agony last week with earache, ending up in out of hours service at 4am. Finally prescribed antibiotics and felt a lot better within 36 hours. The relief was sudden, leading to the assumption her eardrum had burst. There was evidence of bloody puss around outer ear as well. However after a few days of pain free peace, it's sore again ðŸ˜. Her ear seems to have a lot of gunge in it (sorry) and the pain is building. She's around half way through a week long antibiotic course.
Habe GP appt on Wednesday - should I ask to bring forward?
