Can anyone explain what this is and what it means? All I was told today at the opticians is my 8yo ds needs glasses for long sightedness. .

What do you need explaining? He’s long sighted and needs glasses. That’s his prescription and the lenses will be made to that specification

The words are short hand for sphere, cylinder and axis
