My 6yo has been complaining that her tongue is itchy and when I looked, it had lots of tiny blisters. Any clue what it is?

She's perfectly well otherwise, no rash and they aren't ulcers (so I don't think it's hand, foot and mouth).

What is this?

Strawberry tongue is a sign of scarlet fever. Does she have a sore throat? I'd probably take her to gp to see what they diagnose because it needs antibiotics to get rid of it.

Agh, been stuck in work all day. Thanks for the reply. Her tongue isn't red, and no sore throat. Could it really be scarlet fever? Seems unlikely.
