Temperature in 4 year old

Hi there this is my first post...... on Tuesday my daughter who's 4yr old had a temp of 38.5 - 39.5 thought the day and in to the evening..... she was still playing eating and drinking fine was just a little quieter the usually..... she when to bed fine and woke up with no temp and was her self again....how ever last night she woke up at around 2am saying she don't feel good I pick her up a could feel she was hot took her temp it was 38.5 she still the temp now and has had all day.... she still is drinking eating and playing but also has being a bit quite but I have no idea why she has this temp or what it could be any advice would be much appreciated

Ask this to be moved to children's health as you've posted in a business topic.

Temperature is usually the body fighting infection. Keep her fluids up, cool clothing, calpol every four hours and monitor her.

Once she's fully better take her temperature again so you know what her well one is. My dcs normal temp is 36.6. It's helpful to have a starting point so I know what's different for them.

Thank you I didn't relies I posted on wrong page.... her normal temp is 36.5 - 36.9 so it's not normal for her..... sorry but how to I get the post moved please

She is still the same.... asleep now just done temp it's 38.5 it's just not knowing what's causing it that worries me

Tbh it could be anything. Too hot for little ones in this weather. Hope she improves soon.
