DD teeth

My DD has a wobbly tooth at the back she's just turned 5, I know these aren't ment to come out till alot later, we have also been referred for examination of her teeth due to a abcess, she's had this abcess for months on end and still hasn't cleared and we haven't been giving any antibiotics for it either still, she gets her teeth brushed twice a day and is limited for juice and sweets however when she's at grandparents she gets what she wants when she wants which doesn't help at all. We've also just found out she needs glasses as has a astigmatism in her left eye. I can't stop crying at night about everything that's happened over the last few months I feel like I've failed her so much and she doesn't deserve it she's such a kind hearted girl and so polite that when she goes to school if anyone picks on her she will be devastated as she's never had to deal with anything like that before and if someone does say something she won't even have the currage to stand up for self and say something back. I'm not looking for comments or that just need to clear my chest as it's not good bottling it all up.

OP you've not failed her. It sounds like you're very stressed out and upset by all this but it sounds like you're doing the right things by her teeth (brushing and limiting sweets etc).

I have an astigmatism and honestly it hasn't effected me in any way. You couldn't have prevented this if you'd tried!

Glasses are a lot nicer than they used to be, you could get her involved and excited about choosing a pair

Be kind to yourself!

Why do you feel like a failure? These things happen to kids! Get her glasses with sparkles, she ll love them!
Tooth sooner or later would come out!
Not a reason to stress, she ll be fine x
