Toddler with streaming nose

15 month old DD has had a snotty nose since Monday. I thought it was a mild cold, or maybe teething, as she is drooling as well. Today her nose is just streaming - where is all this snot coming from? Aside from kicking off when I wipe her nose, and a cough from the snot/saliva when she is asleep, she seems well enough (no temperature or sore bum).

Is there anything I can give her to dry up the snot?

Probably hay-fever. Our youngest (2) has had it for the past two weeks.

Is there anything we can give them - antihistamine for example? There’s a lot of drool which is what confused me.

A streaming nose can be the body's way to fight infection (wash the infecting agent away). So you need to be sure that that is not what's going on before you try and dry up the snot with antihistamine, otherwise she'll just end up with a worse infection.
