Hi ladies. My LO has broken out in a rash over the past few days. It's on her face, neck, chest and inner elbows. I'm pretty sure it's heat rash but just wanted a second opinion.

Heat rash??

Why on earth does she have all that material round her neck on such a hot day?! Yes looks like heat rash to me - keep her cooler!

Heat rash

@applesandpears56 If I must explain myself to a stranger, she was napping and she sleeps in a Love To Dream swaddle up. It's a very thin material and she was wearing nothing underneath. The material is bunched up around her neck because he arms were raised.

I thought this was a safe space for mums to discuss child related topics, obviously I was wrong. Good job on making a new mum feel like she's doing things wrong Smile

Ooooh my little one loves a swaddle!!! As for the rash...it does look like a heat rash. Mine naturally sleeps on that side of her face and is a little sweaty betty even when it's cool ( her older brother is the same...they get it from their dad ) so ends up with a rash that looks like this. I wouldn't worry.

@Mummygoogler I believe that's the case with us too as she always sleeps on that side! She's a real Sweaty Betty. Sometimes when she falls asleep in my arms my arm is WET from where the back of her neck was ha! Last night there was a full on drip Shock
