Hi, toddler got a bite on leg 3 weeks ago. Started off red and small but has grown bigger over the last 3 weeks. 2 weeks ago saw Doctor who gave antibiotics. On it for a week and it seemed to get better (less red and flat not raised) but a week being on it, it’s got bigger more inflamed and it’s hard with a black little mark in the middle. Is it an insect? It feels like pus inside but Doctor refused to burst it and instead just prescribed more antibiotics. Toddler doesn’t have temperature but the bite is painful. I guess what I’m asking here is should I burst it or leave it?
