Hi

Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Dd age 8 was off school on Friday with temp after feeling hot and cold for a couple of days. Doing much better today but now this. Assuming related but it is all over her trunk and on her face. Hoping it will just go down.

Thanks

Looks a bit like measles to me which is a problem locally. NHS suggests unlikely if fully vaccinated (mine are).

It looks like a viral rash to me. One of my children always gets one when she is unwell. That being said it is hard to tell from an online picture so do get her checked out of you're worried.

Thank you! I did call 111 (ever paranoid and good reasons for being so) and they said the same. Thanks sammylou1. I should have clicked but clearly did not. Appreciate the reply.

Rash still there and hot this am. 111 said to see gp this am if still there. If just viral is it worth it? Annoying as DD so much better so post viral v likely!

So sorry pearshaped, I only just logged on. Hope your DD is feeling better now? I probably would have given it more than a day. In my experience the rash can last a week or so after other symptoms disappear.
