Noticed a red blister on daughters forehead last night just before bed. Didnt think anything of it as she only had one. Had no more that I noticed this morning but since coming home from nursery she has another 6 (2 under her arm 2 in her nappy area one on her tummy and one on her leg) i looked up chicken pox and the spots look exactly the same but she's got so few. Do you think it could be chickenpox or would she have more spots/they would come out more quickly?

TIA Smile

Dd started off like that with chicken pox. Just a few spots. Two days later she was plastered! On the other hand, your dd may just only have a few.

It could be chickenpox. DS2 had it a few weeks ago and only had a few spots for the first 48 hours. Then more came up, but he still wasn't covered in them like DS1 had been when he had it.

Do they look blistery at all? Is she out of sorts? (Not always a reliable sign, DS2 wasn't particularly ourt of sorts unless grumpy because it was itchy).

No perfectly happy, other than a bit spotty. They do look blistery though 🙁
