How long for antibiotics to start working?

DD has an ear infection and was prescribed antibiotics yesterday morning.

Seems to be worse not better!

When can I expect an improvement?

Usually takes until the end of day three IME.

We used to say 48 hours In nursing .

Nurse here, 48hrs usually before they kick in properly.

Ok thanks so hopefully an improvement by tomorrow as that'll be 48 hours since started.

This is so hard. She in such pain bless.
