Swollen wrist - bite?

Hi Doctor MN.

DS1 has woken up with a swollen and painful wrist, possibly a bite?

I have given him a piriton, and he can stay off school certainly for the morning, do you think a doctor would advise anything different? Appointments are like unicorn teeth....Hmm

When I had swelling like that on an ankle I was immediately given antibiotics from the doctor.

It's could be a septic joint is it hot to touch? Does he have a fever?

I wouldn't sit on it to be honest... I work in ED I would X-ray it and do bloods before a doctor sees him
