My 4 year old has terrible issues sleeping, he won't sleep until around 11-12 at night sometimes a lot later, and is still up first thing in the morning we're all shattered is there anything I can try

Hi @kellymcc1

Have you tried all the usual stuff? No screen time before bed, warm bath etc?

My DS doesn't sleep well and now takes melatonin. It's been great for him but I know it doesn't work for everyone

You do need a prescription, our GP wouldn't prescribe it but DS's paediatrician ( he's under her for other reasons ) gave us a prescription. They've been like magic for us. Most nights he wasn't asleep before 11.30/12. Now he's asleep 9/9.30
