Hi, my Ds 9yo started to feel unwell in early nov last year. He gradually got worse, after several visits to docs then hospital they finally found lesions on his liver and spleen. Ct scan, brain and liver mris, countless blood tests. Liver biopsy confirmed Cat Scratch Disease. He took 2 anti bs for 11 weeks, was meant to be 12 but his nausea returned. He's had scan and bloods all fine. However he still feels ill, tummy pains, nausea. I've been putting it down to worry as he also says he feels a lump in his throat (doc checked-all normal). So I've booked him to see a counsellor but I've also googledlong term side effects of ABs and there seems a lot of people feel the same. Anyone else experienced this? I'd like my happy boy back not the anxiety ridden sad boy we have now. Ps I've started him on probiotics again and am following the BRAT Diet too. It's a lot for a kid to go through, I hope we can turn this around....
