ive tried to attach pics hopefully they will post. My daughter has this rash thing that's come up today, she's 9 months old. The first pic there is a red bump and tiny red dots around. The second pic i have drawn a line, above the line is her birthmark so that's normal. But below the line there's a red rash, my mother thinks it's the start of chicken pox but they don't go away when pressed and she's been grumpy all day, but that could be because of the sun with a heat rash. Anyone have any advice of idea what it could be?

Looks like heat rash and a bite. Not chicken pox.

If you are concerned called 111 - they were really good when my son had a rash and we talked to an emergency doctor within an hour and saw an emergency doctor within 2.

The first photo does look like chicken pox to me.

Does she have a temperature?

Given her age i’d ring 111 to discuss it.

marshmy · 03/06/2018 18:51

okay thankyou i'll ring 111 now

yes thank you! The rash was heat rash after all, it was 'blotchy' and the doctor showed me how to spot a blotchy rash, she has a temp but doc said she may have a virus or it could be the heat! thanks for your help Thanks
