Light coloured, disgusting poo - 9 month old

This is gross... sorry. For the last couple of days my 9 month old DS has been doing really foul smelling, sticky, pale yellow poo. He's been out of sorts for just over a week - e.g. sleeping badly, a fever last week (with no other symptoms), bad tempered occasionally, off his food/boob. I put it down to teething because the gnawing and red cheeks seemed to suggest it but now these revolting poos have appeared and I'm not sure if it might be a bug. My DD (4) never really got tummy bugs so I've got no frame of reference! Has anyone else come across anything like this?

(Incidentally, he is also leaping developmentally - he's learnt to clap and wave in the last couple of days, and he's just beginning to move around. So, throwing all of this into the marvellous melting pot that is a young baby and I'm feeling confused about how to handle it all!)

I would put it down to teething unless you've introduced something new into his diet recently? Make sure he gets plenty of fluids and go see your GP if he's not better after three days or he stops having wet nappies.

Sounds like teething my little one was the same when she was getting her teeth she was having more milk than food hence the stinky yellow poos.
