So my 2 year old hates having a poop. He's been like this since he had a bad bout of constipation aged 1. He cut his bum and bled and since then every time he had a sold poop he would bleed. The doctor prescribed lactulose which didn't work. Since then he's been put on movicol for the foreseeable. Whenever he needs a poop he will cross his legs trying his best to keep it in, only letting a little out at a time. This is the same whether hard or soft. So he has about 12 soiled nappies a day. Doctor says carry on with movicol but I'm worried about any long term damage! Also thinking about how I'm going to manage potty training is freaking me out and I just don't know what to do! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
