Ear gunk but no infection?

Hi all

I have scoured the web a million times on this and found no reassurance so I am going direct! My son has had LUMINOUS green gunk coming out of his ears on an off for a few months now. He has had antibitiocs twice as a precaution, seen a GP, been to A&E (the first time) and seen a private pediatrician (without referral). They all say that there is no sign of infection as he has no fever and it is just mucus and will pass. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep! Does it smell too? My son had this - lasted just over a month. Stopped now.
He had grommets for glue ear and I wonder if it was gunk from glue ear! Seems fine now. I was very worried
