Hi my 2 year old had been diagnosed with a local virus going round giving him a goosebump type rash, bright red cheeks and generally off it. However yesterday he vomited all his lunch and didn’t eat again the rest of the day. Alarmingly this morning he’s woken up and been totally listless. He’s walking like he’s drunk and when he’s normally poorly he wants mummy & cries this time he just curls up where you leave him & stares. No rash no temperature. Gave calpol at 10am no improvement. He’s just gone to sleep. He has drunk a little & had 4 teaspoons of porridge. Husband says I’m being neurotic but worth an out of hours GP?? Really worried.

Hi, it's always worth getting him checked out (if you haven't already).
How is his nappy output? Have you had any wet or dirty nappies. What frequency?

Agree with previous poster - always err on the side of caution. Get your little one checked soon as.
Sounds as if he's dehydrated.

Best to see GP or hospital doc
And check the sepsis check list

MN is the wrong place to ask for medical advice. Ask your doctor, nurse and health visitor
