My poor DD has had these bloody horrible things on the back of her legs for over 21 months now, been to the Drs, he said there's nothing he can do and they'll go away on their own...it's dragging on and on now and it looks really awful, like a bad case of acne, anyone got any ideas how to get rid of the dammed things quicker? Doc said 18 months but we're way past that now and they look worse than ever! Thanks in advance

In order from Amazon £8 ish

Rub on leave a min then wash off a few times a week

Empty the bath water straight away

Great stuff and recommended in America only here do they say leave it

I had this problem on DS's arms about 11 years ago now. All 4 DCs has it but it was particularly bad on his arms and they looked awful. Other DS's spots used to get infected as the body was trying to expel them. Awful.
I went on google and got some stuff from America. It was some cream which was called silver something. It worked a treat.

Thanks shalli, I shall investigate, I can't understand why Drs won't treat it, ok, fair enough if it cleared up by itself in a couple of weeks but it doesn't, it's nearly 2 years of suffering and it gets them down because it looks so awful, my DD is too embarassed to do PE now.

Betadine-on each spot twice a day then allow to dry. Also give a multivitamin, plenty of fish/meat, probiotic yoghurt & lots of salad & veg to boost immunity. For my Dd It took about 4-6 weeks after starting betadine but they diminished in size quickly which was a relief.
