White lip

My 10 year old son woke up with a white patch on his lip which looks a bit like a blister but doesn’t hurt at all. There are also some other tiny white patches along the rest of his lip.

Any ideas as to what this could be?

Hi - does anyone have any clues about this? It almost looks like the skin is peeling off his lip
