My 16 month old has been on 2x5ml three times a day of 250g amoxicillin since Friday for tonsillitis- her fever finally came down Sunday and now she is left with a viral rash - have seen a doctor with it - and a really bad stomach still - the doctor said it’s a side effect. Would you recommend a probiotic? She still has 2.5 days left to take and obviously she is having lots to drink but it seems like a lot of medicine to pump into her.....has anyone else seen this side effect?
