9 year old DD, possible cystitis. See OOH or wait until Monday?

My DD has been complaining of feeling unwell for a while, tummy ache etc.
Yesterday she had a few spots of blood and is now saying that it hurts when she wees. She also says she feels like she might be sick. Temperature is not high - a little low if anything.

NHS website says see GP if you suspect cystitis in children, but I'm not sure if I should try to get her seen over the weekend or wait until monday. Anyone have experience with children that have had it?

I had a bad urinary tract infection as a child several times and it got quite serious - I would see someone if temp is up and blood in urine I think warrants a medical opinion.

Hope she feels better soon xx

Blood? I would speak to 111 and ask for an out of hours appt. Poor thing - cystitis is bloody horrendous.

DD has been hospitalised with her recurrent UTIs. She’s never had a fever.

Your DD prob needs antibiotics today - don’t wait till Monday as it’s more serious if it reaches her kidneys.

Ok, thanks everyone. DD can be a bit of a drama queen so sometimes it's hard to tell when to take her seriously. Looks like this might be one of those times! DD has gone out with her dad, but I'll call 111 when they return.
