When is puberty too early?

Dd1 will be 8 in a couple of weeks. She's the skinniest beanpole and around 128cm so the taller end of average.

About a month ago, I noticed she was a bit wiffy so I've been encouraging her to use an alcohol free roll on.

Today, she said she was a bit sore down below. Whilst applying sudocrem, I noticed a few pubic hairs.

She's still totally flat chested and as I said, she's a rake.

Should I take her to the GP as all this has started at just 7. Sad

I don't think I'd worry that much if she is nearly 8. Sounds like she has no breast development which is one of the first stages of puberty. 8 is within normal limits for puberty starting

I have 2 v skinny 8.5 year olds and the eldest (by a whole 30 seconds) is very tall. She started getting a tiny bit whiff y around the same age. She has developed a real waist but no breast buds yet I don't think.

Dd2 is minute (still well under 4 stone) although around average height for 8.5 and has just started with the niffy pits so think it's about normal based upon my sample of two.
