This is constipation /trapped wind right?!

Hi I just need some reassurance really as I'm having a bit of a flap!

DS, 6, always suffered with constipation but for the last 9-12 months it has appeared to improve dramatically so far as to say I would have said he longer suffers with it.

Fast forward to today, when I picked him up from school he looks tired and a bit 'grey'. He was quiet on the walk home but didn't complain of any pain/illness. About half an hour later he suddenly shouted out in pain and grabbed his stomach. He was bent double and crying saying he needed the toilet. We rushed to the toilet where he did a poo with a small amount of fuss. It was fairly normal looking for him and was not particularly hard to pass. I noticed at this point he was very sweaty and hot to the touch.

He seemed to be a bit better and passed a lot of wind. About 5ish he suddenly did the same again but this time couldn't do anything when he went to the toilet. After 2/3 minutes of discomfort he was fine again and has been playing as normal. His temperature seems to have come down as well.

This is just a sudden random bout of constipation or maybe some trapped wind right? Nothing to worry about? Panicking slightly at the sudden nature and extreme pain.
