Our 5 year old has had a spot/lump on his neck for the past 18 months. We've been to the doctors 3 times - on the first 2 occasions we were advised that it was a cyst and nothing to worry about. We took him again last week as it was bothering him when he was dressing.
Again doctor said looked like a cyst as it moved under the skin, but he did say it was quite big (2cm). He advised an appt. at the ear nose and throat hospital to look at the options of getting it removed.
Next appt. is in August. Should I be worried and look to push for an earlier appt. or look at BUPA (we don't have cover)?
Are these common? Should we be worried? He's had it 18+ months most of the time it doesn't bother him.
