Hi! My 5yo started vomiting at the weekend. No stomach pain, diarrhea or fever. Lethargic and just generally not herself. Thought it's had passed yesterday but she couldn't eat much (small bites of a banana) and she struggled with energy today. Noe has just thrown up her whole dinner (chicken soup) after sleeping most of the afternoon.

Any ideas on what this could be. Well be ringing the doctors in the morning but looking for any clue. She's all happy and smiley and would be herself if she could keep her food down.

Thanks to anyone in advance!

It sounds like a standard sickness bug from what you've said OP.

If she's been lethargic, sleeping a lot and generally not herself as you say then she isn't her normal self!

Not all sickness bugs come with fever, stomach ache and diarrhea. Provided that she's not dehydrated and not worrying you in other ways I would say don't take her anywhere!

That's what I thought at first but it started on the Friday and is still going on. Just phone the doctors and they're suggesting the hospital because she could be dehydrated by now with not keeping anything down since they don't have any appt until mid May.

Thanks for dropping in.
