Swollen lymph node for 6m+?

My toddler aged 2 has had a swollen lymph node on his neck since at least xmas. It never gets any bigger and is squishy etc, I'm not sure if I should be worried or not about it? He's had a few issues these past few months so I'm hesitant to make a GP appt if it's not necessary as we seem to be there all the time!

My ds has had swollen nodes on his neck since January, he's been ill on and off since then just viral colds but they still get swollen and noticeable when he's ill. I thought they had gone but I felt around and it was still there just slightly smaller. I heard it can stick around for months especially if they keep catching colds and infections weeks after each other
