Baby Low Body Temp

Hi, my 7month son has tonsillitis and started antibiotics this week. He had a fluctuating temp from normal up to high 39.1 being highest, but the last couple days it's been going from high to really low 34.

We ended up in AE last night on recommendation of my GP but they seem no concern with the fluctuating temps or low temp.

If I google (I know I shouldn't) 34 temp it say mild hyperthermia amongst other things.

Today in a warm house he's colder to the touch and temp ranging in the 34s.

Has anyone else had this happen to put my mind to rest ?

Thanks

It can be a sign of sepsis, but it’s usually accompanied by the child’s becoming less alert and quieter. If he feels cold to the touch I would get him checked again. He’s very young and they won’t think you are fussing,
