Referral to CAMHS

Hello

My DD has been referred via school to a local CAMHS member that attends her school.

I have previously posted on AIBU and other Talk boards about her natural fathers personality disorders and visiting. DD does not visit anymore but misses her little step brother (3 years old) as she basically looked after him since he was born when at my exs for weekends.

DD was acting normal until her short term boyfriend (2 months dating but good friends before) and her had an argument when he mentioned something about seeing her dad and brother. DD flipped. I think she feels like everything is failing as she has also fell out with 2 good friends.

Head of year asked for pastoral school support involvement as they had previously counselled DD regarding her dad. Now upgraded to CAMHS as she had a day off school, then went back in as normal and broke down again. DD cannot talk to anyone (open up) except the original lady that helped her.

My question is will CAMHS be any good for her if she only really can open up to the original counsellor in school?
