DD (2) : mild temp, generally miserable, a couple of spots for over a week; complains her feet hurt (soles) and her mouth hurts (cheeks).

had 2 days off school last week and 2 this week (not sequential schooldays). She had a runny nappy early last week but only one and all the rest of the family had either a vomiting bout or diarrhoea briefly. She went back to school as was acting fine.

Spots have been there about 1.5 weeks. Watched them for chicken pox but they didn't develop. Very few and far between. Some are almost gone, some look like attached.

Meant to fly to London tomorrow. Getting to gp difficult without taking my other 2 kids out of school. DP away. Suggestions? Do I need to keep her off plane?

Bump ....

And now we've got a bit of what looks like hives on vulva and chest ...

Sounds like hand foot and mouth. Contagious but just a virus and most people have had it. If she is coughing, dont take her on the plane. Make sure she is drinking properly as dehydration is the biggest problem

Thanks @SeaToSki ... I'll check her mouth shortly, but I think you've nailed it!

Definitely sounds like HF&M to me.
