Dear all

This is my second post today .Son still has conjucivitis in one eye and has not all cleaned up .He has missed 4 days at school .I am happy to send him with one not so good eye and antibiotic drops which I will tell the school person to put since all I can see from the website that it takes a 1 week or more for actual clearance .Would it be unfair?.Does children who have conjuctivitis are allowed in school .

It is highly contagious, what is your schools policy on it?

Mine has conjunctivitis, I've started treating it and he'll be off to school tomorrow. Nursery used to send home children with if if they hadn't started the drops, but school never has Confused

I'd just give him the drops and send him off tbh.

Are you sure school will administer them? I thought schools shy away from getting involved in this sort of acute illness - maybe they get involved with chronic conditions.

Probably vest to check first.
