Thought my little boy had oral thrush but about three spots have come up on his face and he has one on each hand? Is it chicken pox?

Jumping on the HFM bandwagon here too. DS had it quite severely round his mouth, arms/hands, bum and legs. Nothing at all anywhere else

Ah right ok thankyou!! Is there anything you can do for it?

Not unless it becomes infected. They tend to get the high temp before the rash appears but regular calpol to ease the pain from the mouth ulcers if it's affecting their eating/drinking is helpful. You might find that his finger/toe nails start peeling or falling off in a few week/a month or so, they will grow back ok though.
